Qualifications:
- 2 Visits to the office/2 PC over 1 year, then will roll to a second year 2 Visits to the office/PC- pays up to $460 for first year and $460 for second year
- Can not have received an RSV vaccine in past 6 months
- Ages 60 & older
The Need for RSV Vaccines
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common respiratory virus that poses a significant health risk, particularly to infants, young children, and older adults. It is the leading cause of lower respiratory tract infections such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia. Older adults and people with underlying health conditions such as congestive heart failure or coronary artery disease, asthma and COPD as well as diabetes Type 1 & Type 2 are at a higher risk for developing severe RSV infection. RSV vaccinations can help reduce the spread of RSV within communities, which could help provide indirect protection to those who are unvaccinated.
